ICT

               Across the past twenty years the use of Information and communication technologies (ICT) has changed our lives. According to Daniels (2002) ICTs have become one of the basic building blocks of modern society. The world is moving rapidly into digital media and information and in the case of education,  the role of ICT  is becoming more and more important and this importance will continue to grow and develop in the 21st century.

               This course is is called ICT and its aim is to learn how to use ICT in the English class. With the help of miss Mabel Ortiz, our teacher, we are going to learn how to use some tools such us webquests, glogster and wiki.  As future teachers, it would be an important learning because we are going to have the possibility to teach our  students how to work with these same kinds of tool which would be more fun

  Here are presented some effective uses of ICT  that coul be created at school by students.

webquest:

                A webquest is an oriented activity that  allow students to synthesize their knowledge in a specific topic. 

Example: "An spetial day to your mother´s birthday".

glogster:

              A glogster isan  interactive site that allows students to create an interactive poster including pictures, videos, graphics and hyperlinks.

Wiki:  

       A wiki  is a series of web pages on the Internet that are easy to edit by anyone with a password to your wiki. It is a collaborative space online where you can create and share information among a  number of users.
